Knitted Knockers

Posted

We are pleased to offer our space as a meet up and drop off point for knitted knockers. A knit/crochet group for knitted knockers will be meeting at the store on the first Tuesday of the month from 2-4p beginning Oct. 3rd. Check out their website https://www.knittedknockers.org/ for more information about the organization and contact our local representative, Mary, whose info is below for local information. Happy knitting and crocheting for a cause!

Great Knockers Again will begin meeting the first Tuesday of each month at 2-4 pm to knit/crochet for Knitted Knockers. Our mission is to connect volunteer knitters and crocheters with breast cancer survivors to provide free knitted knockers. We do this by inspiring knitters to bring comfort and dignity to the women in their own communities. We will be meeting at Piney Creek Yarn, located at Piney Creek Square, 15422 E. Orchard Rd., Centennial, CO. Our first meeting will be October 3. Piney Creek Yarn is an affiliated store with KnittedKnockers.org that provides approved yarns and distribution of knockers. Contact Mary Turek at 303-995-5906 or visit http://www.facebook.com/GreatKnockersAgain for additional information.
