Inkle Weaving is a fun way to learn about weaving without the investment of expensive equipment to start out. An Inkle loom is a portable belt loom that is simple to warp up. Inkle bands can be used to make belts, straps, bookmarks, ornaments and more. You will learn to warp your loom and read patterns so you can re-warp a loom on your own. Finishing techniques will also be covered. We will choose the cotton yarn we will use at the beginning of class.

Learn to Crochet at your own pace. Pick and choose the days and times you want to attend. Take as much time to master the skills as you need. At each group lesson you will have the opportunity to learn beginner skills. Sign up for one class session at a time. No need to commit to a string of sessions. Sign up for the next session when you are ready. At each group lesson you will have the opportunity to learn beginner skills.

Learn to knit at your own pace. Pick and choose the days and times you want to attend. Take as much time to master the skills as you need. At each group lesson you will have the opportunity to learn beginner skills. No need to commit to a string of sessions. Choose and pay for one class at a time and come back and learn the next bit when you are ready. The average is 3 sessions for beginners.

A Rigid Heddle Loom is the perfect tool to expand your fiber working skills. Making your own cloth is fast and fun and opens up a world of possibilities for new projects. Make bags, scarves, towels, blankets and more. Come join us for the day learning about Rigid Heddle Weaving. You will learn how to warp the loom to make a colorful scarf. The instructor will help you pick out your yarn at the beginning of class. You will need approximately 250 ? 350 yards depending on the size of the yarn. We will discuss weaving terms, how to figure warp and weft, some simple design possibilities and how to finish off your scarf.

Learn two color brioche in the round including tips and tricks to help you master this new skill. You will need a copy of the pattern, Cowl, not bread by Debbie Svensson (available on Ravelry), one skein each of two colors worsted or DK weight yarn (store sample is Berroco Pixel and Berroco Ultra Wool DK) and a 24" needle appropriate to the size of your yarn and your gauge (pattern calls for 6). Be sure to come to class with your project cast on so we can get right to the brioche stitch.
