Fancy Inkle Hatband for the Fourth of July!
Techniques you will learn in this class - clasped weft weaving, split weft weaving, proper finishing techniques, weaving to consider band use.
Level – must be confident warping your loom independently. This is not a beginning inkle class
Length – 6 hours over 2 classes
Maximum – 4 students
Equipment - inkle loom, shuttle, and 24 pre-made string heddles
Other – purchase the hatband kit at Piney Creek, which includes all the yarns needed (the kit does not
contain heddles). You will need a hat (bring to first class), and a button or fastener (you can bring this to
the second class), tape measure, straight tipped tapestry needle, scissors, notepaper and pencil
