Fix-It Class (Knitting)
Homework:
Using worsted weight yarn (4) and US#7 or US#8 needle.
Cast on 50 stitches with whatever cast on you prefer.
Set-Up Row WS: P2, (K2 P2,) 3X, PM, K12, PM, K2, P8, K2, PM P12.
Row 1(RS): K12, SM, P2, K8, P2, SM, K12, SM, K2, (P2, K2,) 3X.
Row 2(WS): P2, (K2, P2,) 3X, SM, K12, SM, K2, P8, K2, SM, P12.
Rows 3 & 4: Repeat rows 1 & 2.
Row 5: K12, SM, P2, C4R, P2, SM, K12, SM, K2, (P2,KK2) 3X.
Row 6: P2, (K2, P2,) 3X, SM, K12, SM, K2, P8, K2, SM, P12.
Row 7(RS): K12, SM, P2, K8, P2, SM, K12, SM, K2, (P2, K2,) 3X.
Row 8(WS): P2, (K2, P2,) 3X, SM, K12, SM, K2, P8, K2, SM, P12.
Rows 9 & 10: Repeat rows 1 & 2.
Row 11: K12, SM, P2, C4L, P2, SM, K12, SM, K2, (P2,K2) 3X.
Row 12: P2, (K2, P2,) 3X, SM, K12, SM, K2, P8, K2, SM, P12.
Rows 13-16. Repeat Row 1 – 4.
Do not bind off. Leave piece on your knitting needle.
C4L - slip 4 stitches to cable needle, hold in front. Knit 4 st, and then knit the 4 st. from cable needle.
C4R- slip 4 stitches to cable needle, hold in back. Knit 4 st, and then knit the 4 st. from cable needle.
