Midsummer Fairies

Students will gain experience in two basic areas of needle felting: making armature for 3-D felt figures,
and making firm felt balls. Once these basics are in place, students will be able to give free rein to their
imaginations and personalize their fairies with hair and clothing of different colored roving, wings (or
not), and embellishments.

Materials: (There will be a 10% discount on any materials bought for this class from Piney Creek Yarn)
To make one fairy, each student will need:
- wool roving in a variety of colors, including skin tones
- thread in colors of wool roving
- yarn in colors of wool roving
- one, 6-inch pipe cleaner
- a size 38 felting needle
- foam block
- finger guards (optional)

This class will have a 2 student minimum, if we do not reach the minimum the class will be canceled and your class fee will be refunded.
