Spinning on an Electric Spinning Wheel

DETAILS:
Bring water and a snack, pencil and note paper
Bring samples if you have a goal yarn in mind
We’ll take a 20 minute break in the middle of class
All questions are welcome
ELECTRIC SPINING WHEEL:
If you do not have an e-spinner you may have the use of an EEW 6.1 while in class (available for purchase)
If you have an e-spinner, bring it with its the User Guide, a fully charged battery pack or the plug in cord,
orifice hook, any extra parts or options that you have (all bobbins, drive bands, orifice reducer etc),
lubricant, lazy kate, portable table if you use one, etc. Make sure your wheel is operational before coming to
class. If it is not operational, make an appointment with the instructor to correct any issues. There is an
additional fee of $10 for this service (payable to instructor). This service cannot be done during class
time
FIBER:
Bring 3 – 4 oz of various wools of any preparation and type, that you are familiar with and like to spin, to use in
class. We will also venture into spinning cotton and silk, bring those fibers if you have them
A limited amount of wool, cotton, and silk fibers will be supplied in class
A 10% discount is included for additional fiber purchases at the shop on class day
This class will have a 2-student minimum, if we do not reach the minimum the class will be canceled and your class fee
will be refunded.
